Hi, I’m Bridget!

Parfum by Bridget is my independent fragrance studio, created as a space for thoughtful, intentional perfumery. Every fragrance is made in small batches with care and attention to detail.

I have always been fascinated by how we use botanicals and nature to create beautiful things. I have spent years creating natural pigments from plants grown in my own dye garden. Extracting color from a flower, leaf, or root using ancient methods has helped me feel deeply connected to the natural world and instilled a strong sense of appreciation. There is something precious about using plants in such a meaningful way.

Just as pigments are an ancient use of botanicals in art, perfumery feels much the same. Breaking down the natural world into fragrance molecules and rebuilding it into something new is a mind-blowing experience, and one that I find endlessly inspiring.

Methods and Inspiration

I approach perfume as both an art and a discipline. Each scent begins as a personal exploration of mood, memory, light, or place and is composed by hand from the first trial to the final bottle. I work with carefully selected naturals and aroma molecules, and I follow IFRA guidelines to ensure each fragrance is created responsibly and with safety in mind.

I am meticulous by nature and unapologetically detail-oriented. Formulas are tested, adjusted, and revisited until they feel balanced and complete. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is released unless it meets my own standards as a maker.

Botanicals and the natural world are a constant source of inspiration for me. Gardens, plants, textures, forgotten treasures, and stillness throughout the day often find their way into my work, whether directly or as an underlying influence.

Parfum by Bridget is intentionally small and independent. I formulate each fragrance myself and oversee every part of the process. Each release reflects my point of view and my respect for perfume as a craft.
